What is The Bash?

The Bash is an event destination and inspirational marketplace where party planners can find themes and ideas for any special occasion, and then bring it to life by booking the best party professionals in their area. The Bash targets clients that are looking to wow their guests with an unforgettable, Instagram-worthy party and experience.

Who has been invited?

For the initial pilot launch, we've invited a select group of GigMasters members in certain categories in the New York City area. 

I wasn't invited yet, will I be?

We'll be inviting additional GigMasters members on a rolling basis. To be considered in the future, be sure to confirm your bookings, maintain a high feedback rating, and keep up a quick response rate on GigMasters. If you're interested in joining The Bash, please fill out the form on this page to get added to our waitlist. We will reach out to you once we are in your area/category and if you meet the booking qualifications.

How much does it cost?

It’s completely free for invited GigMasters members to join us on The Bash. In fact, for our initial pilot launch, all bookings will be routed through GigMasters. You’ll have the same 5% booking fee, with a minimum of $20. Eventually, when we're able to accept bookings and payments on The Bash, we’ll be transitioning to a 12-15% marketplace transaction fee with no upfront membership fee.

How is The Bash different from GigMasters?

The Bash is a brand new marketplace, focused around event and party inspiration. The goal is to not only drive a whole new segment of clients, but also offer better matching of clients and vendors. The Bash also offers better pricing transparency to ensure there’s less back and forth, making it more seamless than ever before to get booked.

I'm a GigMasters member. What happens to my membership?

Absolutely nothing is changing with your GigMasters membership - in fact, we’re more dedicated than ever to helping you grow your business. We're employing different SEO tactics and targeting different demographics to attract new clients on The Bash which will bring vendors additional booking opportunities. If you do become part of The Bash, your GigMasters account must remain active and in good standing.
