What is The Bash?

The Bash is a brand new inspirational event marketplace that’s part of The Knot Worldwide's family of brands (The Knot, WeddingWire, GigMasters, The Bump and more!). It’s a one-stop shop for party hosts to find inspiration, then hire and book the perfect venue and the best party professionals for their celebration.

Where is it available?

The Bash launched in NYC in June, 2018. We will be expanding to additional cities in late 2019!

Who has been invited?

For the initial launch, we've invited a select group of GigMasters entertainers as well as venues, caterers, and bartenders in the New York City area.

I wasn't invited yet, will I be?

We'll be inviting additional party professionals on a rolling basis. If you're interested in joining The Bash, please fill out the form on this page to get added to our waitlist. We will reach out to you once we are in your area/category and if you meet the booking qualifications.

What does it cost?

There are no upfront membership fees to join The Bash. Once The Bash is able to accept payments, you'll pay a standard marketplace transaction fee upon booking. 

How is The Bash different from GigMasters?

The Bash is an end-to-end party planning tool (from inspiration to planning to booking) that targets a whole new segment of clients looking to wow their guests with an unforgettable, Instagram-worthy party. The Bash also offers more price and availability transparency, reducing the back and forth communication with party hosts to get booked faster.

I'm a GigMasters member. What happens to my membership?

GigMasters is a successful, national platform that will coexist with The Bash. Absolutely nothing is changing with your GigMasters membership - in fact, we’re more dedicated than ever to helping you grow your business. We're employing different SEO tactics and targeting different demographics to attract new clients on The Bash which will bring vendors additional booking opportunities.
